The Rehabilitation, Employment and Follow-up Unit at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls, University of Baghdad, under the patronage of its Dean, Prof. Dr Fatima Abd Maleh, and the supervision of its official, Ms. Safia Ihsan Kamel, hosted a delegation from the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs / Department of Labor and Vocational Training / Labor Resources and Worker Migration Center, including Ms. Dunya Saad Taha and Mr. Ali Ghazi Abdul Najm, to hold a dialogue session entitled (Regular Migration, the Risks of Irregular Migration and Support for Returning Migrants)

The session aimed to raise awareness regarding regular migration and the risks of irregular migration and warn against the consequences of dealing with illegal migrant smuggling gangs and human trafficking gangs support the category of returnees from countries of immigration, whether economic or social support and how to integrate them into Iraqi society and encourage building the capacities of job seekers and developing their skills through courses in vocational training centres or through development Self.

The session concluded with a set of recommendations, the most important of which is the continuation of cooperation between (the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs/Department of Labor and Vocational Training- Labor Resources and Labor Migration Center) and the University of Baghdad in repeating the sessions, placing posters to inform about the dangers of irregular migration and its consequences, and coordinating the time of holding the sessions in a manner that is compatible with the attendance of students due to the importance of the topic.

In conclusion, the unit official presented letters of thanks and appreciation to the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs delegation for their efforts to hold a purposeful awareness session that serves our Iraqi youth and urges them not to migrate.

This session achieves one of the sustainable development goals represented by the fourth goal, quality education, and the seventeenth goal, establishing partnerships to achieve the goals
