Within the activities of the Leadership Week organized by the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls – University of Baghdad, the college held a distinctive sports event in cooperation with the Student Activities Unit, which included gymnastics shows for children in the presence of the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Fatima Abd Maleh, and a group of college members from employees, lecturers, and students, to develop and nurture the talents of children and to enhance their passion for sports.

The event witnessed a distinctive interactive atmosphere, as the children presented sports shows that demonstrated their gymnastics skills, amid great encouragement from the audience. The college was keen to provide support and guidance to the children, which contributed to enhancing their self-confidence and developing their talents.

This event aims to achieve the goals of sustainable development, especially the third goal, “Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all,” and the fourth goal, “Ensure quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities,” by providing a comprehensive sports environment that supports the development of children’s abilities.

The attendees praised the excellent organization of the event, expressing their appreciation for this initiative that highlights the role of the college in supporting future generations and developing their capabilities. The college’s deanship confirmed its commitment to continue organizing similar events to enhance community communication and develop the talents of young people as part of its vision to achieve innovation and excellence in sports.
