The Ibn Sina E-Learning Unit at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls, University of Baghdad, held an online scientific workshop via the (Zoom) program entitled (Digital Transformation, a New Window for Creativity), presented by the head of the Information Technology Unit, Programmer Riyam Abdul Karim.
Ms. Riyam explained the concept of digital transformation as a process of radical change in how individuals and institutions work by integrating digital technology into all aspects of work. Its importance lies in enhancing creativity, raising work efficiency, improving communication, and reaching new markets. Among the strategies for implementing digital transformation are awareness, planning, implementation, evaluation, and adaptation, and among the steps for its implementation are planning, training, implementation, and communication.
She also mentioned its technologies represented by cloud computing, smart devices, the Internet of Things, and artificial intelligence.
She added that creative thinking in digital transformation is represented by evaluating ideas, understanding the problem, implementing, and generating ideas.
This workshop achieves one of the goals of sustainable development, represented by the fourth goal of quality education.
