The Women’s Football Championship resumed at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls, University of Baghdad, under the patronage of its Dean, Prof. Dr. Fatima Abd Maleh, which was organized by the Student Activities and Women’s Affairs Units in cooperation with the Friends of the Interior Department.
The second event of the championship included a match between the Bint Al-Iraq Academy team and Fatat Al-Aish team. It ended with the Bint Al-Iraq team winning eight goals to zero for its counterpart, Fatat Al-Aish, noting that the date of the final match between the eight participating teams was set for early January 2025.
This match achieves one of the sustainable development goals represented by the third goal, good health and well-being, and the seventeenth, establishing partnerships to achieve the goals.
