The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls, University of Baghdad, celebrated, under the patronage of its Dean, Prof. Dr. Fatima Abd Maleh, and in the presence of the college’s members, the Day of Our Valiant Army, coinciding with the annual anniversary on the sixth of January of each year.

The celebration began with a speech by the Assistant Dean for Scientific and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Suhad Hassib, congratulating our valiant security forces on their glorious holiday and recalling their sacrifices to defend the homeland. The celebration also included flag-raising ceremonies and reciting poems and anthems that sang about the love of the homeland.

In conclusion, the attendees expressed their pride in the Day of their valiant army and its role in protecting our homeland, wishing them success in preserving security and peace to achieve one of the goals of sustainable development represented by the sixteenth goal of peace, justice, and strong institutions.
