The Continuing Education Unit at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls, University of Baghdad, held a training course entitled (Basics of Microsoft Office Programs), presented by the Members of the Theoretical Sciences Branch, Asst. Lect. Safaa Mahmoud, Asst. Lect. Rasha Majed and Asst. Lect. Liqa’a Muhammad, for (3) days (27-29/1/2025), in Akram Fahmy Hall.

The course curriculum focused on the most important basic programs of Microsoft Office, which are represented by Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Access.

The course concluded with the presentation of projects and practical applications, such as a practical application for preparing an official document using Word, designing a model for reports and data analysis using Excel, preparing a professional presentation using PowerPoint, creating a database for a small project using Access, a comprehensive review of all programs, answering trainees’ inquiries, submitting and evaluating projects.

This course achieves one of the sustainable development goals represented by the fourth goal, quality education.
