The Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit in the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls, University of Baghdad, under the auspices of its dean, Dr. Fatima Abd Maleh, under the supervision of its official, Dr. Huda Abdul Samie, hosts a delegation from the Department of Psychological and Social Rehabilitation to combat extremism/ Department of Culture and Youth Arts, both. Lect. Dr. Muhammad Muwaffaq Makki, Asst. Lect. Taha Hameed Kawad, Asst. Lect. Samir Hafid Hameed, and Hassan Abdul Hadi, to hold an awareness lecture for undergraduate students entitled (The role of women in building peace and protecting the family from the dangers of extremism).

The axes of the lecture were presented by Dr. Muhammad Muwaffaq, explaining the danger of extremism in society, and describing it as serious diseases that require intensifying efforts to develop strategies by specialists to work to confront it, as well as explaining its concept that he rejected any cultural, religious or intellectual belief that contradicts extremist ideology, composing its types to intellectual, religious, political, and social extremism, as well as between the role of Iraqi women, whether at home or outside it by working to combat it in all its forms because it is the basic building block in building society, as well as its role in spreading societal peace and rejecting hate speech, extremism and acceptance other opinions and participate in building peace.

This lecture achieves one of the sustainable development goals represented by the fourth goal, good education, and the seventeenth, contracting partnerships to achieve the goals.
