The Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls at the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Fatima Abd Malih, accompanied by the Associate Dean for Scientific and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Suhad Haseeb, held a meeting with the postgraduate and academic committees, as well as  PhD program teachers.

The meeting aimed to clarify the scientific evaluation mechanisms that will be implemented by the external examiner for the academic curriculum of the PhD program. Three experts from universities listed in the Shanghai Global Ranking were announced for this evaluation.

The Dean emphasized the importance of ensuring that the prepared lectures align with the college’s academic objectives and the requirements of the scientific courses. She also stressed the need for compatibility with the accredited sports science specializations and the goals of the university and similar institutions.

This initiative is part of ongoing academic efforts to enhance collaboration and educational exchange between Arab and international universities, particularly in light of modern technological advancements that contribute to supporting and developing research in specialized fields.

Furthermore, this approach aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically Goal 4 on quality education and Goal 17 on establishing effective partnerships to achieve shared developmental objectives.
