The Scientific Affairs Unit is one of the essential units in our college, with a purely scientific role. It is responsible for keeping up with the trends in scientific publishing, achievements, and patents, in addition to organizing seminars, workshops, discussion panels, and many other scientific activities.

Vision

In line with our college’s vision, the Scientific Affairs Unit adopts a vision that emphasizes supporting and ensuring rigorous scientific research. This vision aims to meet the needs of the scientific field in research, publication, and the development of researchers. The unit also seeks to complement and support the vision of the Scientific Affairs Department at our university.

Mission

  • Implementing pre-planned and flexible organization of scientific activities in accordance with university regulations and guidelines.

  • Supporting scientific activities and seeking ways to develop them (seminars, workshops, and discussion panels).

  • Utilizing modern and advanced methods to respond to all university-related scientific affairs correspondence.

  • Maintaining continuous coordination with all branches, divisions, and units within our college, with the mission of fostering communication with other units and departments for optimal collaboration.

Goals

  • Completing and monitoring the approved system for scientific research.

  • Submitting semi-annual and quarterly reports on the unit’s activities and events in an organized manner.

  • Following up on the organization of seminars, workshops, and discussion panels, ensuring their results are disseminated for maximum benefit.

  • Overseeing the publication of scientific journals issued by university departments.

  • Enhancing scientific communication between our college and other university departments in various scientific fields.

  • Promoting the philosophy of physical education and its role in scientific advancement among all staff members.

  • Monitoring the adopted system for scientific research and published achievements.

  • Hosting external lecturers and maintaining collaboration with foreign and Arab universities to enhance academic excellence.
