About the reconstruction and Projects Unit

The construction and Projects Unit is one of the basic administrative and technical units in government and academic institutions, as it is responsible for planning and supervising the implementation of various urban and engineering projects. The unit aims to develop infrastructure, rehabilitate buildings and facilities, which contributes to providing an appropriate working, educational and research environment according to the latest technical and engineering standards.

1. Preparing strategic plans for the reconstruction and development of infrastructure and facilities.
2. Ensuring the implementation of projects in accordance with international technical specifications and quality standards.
3. Rationalize the use of financial and human resources to achieve the highest efficiency.
4. Contribute to the improvement of the work environment, education and research through advanced projects.
5. Support the transformation towards environmentally friendly and sustainable projects.

Tasks
. Preparing a plan for the projects that the college buildings need, from development works to maintenance or construction
. Preparing the technical statements of the works to be prepared and approved if approval is obtained for their implementation
. Participation in committees specialized in infrastructure maintenance
. Follow up the systems and buildings of the college and submit monthly reports to the Deanship of what is observed during the tours of malfunctions or works to be completed in order to be referred to maintenance after obtaining the approval of the deanship.
