The Media and Government Communication Division at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for GirlsUniversity of Baghdad, is one of the important and effective departments in the college. It reflects the scientific, cultural, and sports activities and communicates them to the public through media outlets, print, and online platforms. The Media and Informatics Unit plays a significant role in highlighting the college’s various activities in both academic and sports fields.

The unit is managed by:

  1. Prof. Dr. Fatima Abd Malih (Unit Supervisor)

  2. Assist. Lecturer Ibtehal Jassim Rashid (Unit Head)

  3. Mrs. Raja Rathi Ali Hassoun (Unit Member)

The main functions of the Media Unit are:

  1. Coordinating with TV channels and various media outlets to organize special programs and interviews with the dean, vice-dean, department heads, faculty members, and students.

  2. Documenting all scientific, cultural, and sports activities of the college through video and photography.

  3. Organizing events for students, including graduation ceremonies.

  4. Covering all college activities, both on and off-campus, including events, championships, festivals, and local and international scientific and sports conferences.
