Laboratories of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls

The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls at the University of Baghdad includes two main laboratories under the supervision of the Department of Theoretical Sciences, led by Dr. Laqa Ali Anad. These laboratories are:

1- Graduate Studies Laboratory

2- Theoretical Sciences Laboratory

– Vision, mission and goals of the computer laboratories

Harnessing Information Technology and its tools to provide adequate support for teaching and scientific research projects for students, expanding the use of information technology by faculty members, students, and staff, symbolizing the state institutions and all ministries with qualified personnel in the field of information technology, and achieving excellence in the level of graduates and community service .

The Accreditation Unit for the Computer Laboratory at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls

A Laboratory Accreditation Unit has been established, functioning as an administrative unit within the organizational structure of the Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Department at the college.

Tasks and Responsibilities of the Laboratory Accreditation Unit:

1- Implementation of international standards for the laboratory.

2- Adjustment of records and documents, auditing equipment standards, conducting periodic reviews, and completing corrective actions.

3- Drawing up the laboratory’s quality policy to fulfill the roles and responsibilities of all staff towards the quality of results. This policy should be documented and announced in the laboratory.

4- Definition of a set of principles by the laboratory management for quality control.

5- Documentation and announcement of objectives for the laboratory with shared goals.

6- Activation of safety and environmental procedures, securing protection systems, including ventilation, lighting, firefighting systems, alarms, and self-extinguishing within programs and risk levels.

7- Monitoring the training of personnel in laboratory practices, testing performance competency, and documenting results.

8- Encoding devices and equipment, recording all required data, including manufacturer, year of manufacture, company name, etc.

9- Monitoring safety procedures for examination and calibration, specifying responsibilities and authorities in work management and the procedures.
