College mission

We are the College of Physical Education and Sports Science for Girls, an educational and athletic institution dedicated to serving the community by preparing qualified educational and training personnel, meeting labor market requirements, and promoting sports culture as a lifestyle for public health, economic development, and the achievement of sustainable development goals.

College goals

    1. Preparing qualified female teachers to meet the needs of educational institutions, clubs, sports centers, and central federations.

    2. Providing scientific consultation and collaborating with governmental, non-governmental, academic, sports, youth, Arab, and international organizations to study sports-related issues and achieve common objectives across various fields of physical education.

    3. Promoting the development of sports activities across all state sectors concerned (Ministry of Youth and Sports – Iraqi Olympic Committee).

    4. Contributing effectively to curriculum development in line with advancements in academic educational programs.

    5. Enhancing undergraduate and postgraduate curricula according to global competitiveness standards.

    6. Adopting contemporary teaching methods that strengthen the learning process and foster creative thinking and research among students.

    7. Advancing scientific research and guiding it toward serving the community.

    8. Publishing scientific outputs in reputable global databases and indexing platforms.

    9. Ensuring quality and university performance according to standards and achieving high-ranking classifications.
