The two teachers of the individual games branch in the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls, University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Zina Abdel Salam and Dr. Zainab Qahtan held a workshop for undergraduate students entitled (Advantages and Disadvantages of Using Computers in the Lesson of Physical Education)
The two teachers explained the concept of a computer, which is a programmed machine that performs specific tasks and functions, as well as a group of electronic parts that gather together to form a computer, and among its advantages are increased work efficiency, high storage capacity, internet connection, distance learning, a means of entertainment, solving all digital issues .
They also pointed out its defects represented by health problems, wasting time, invading privacy, stimulating family disintegration, and causing social isolation.
The workshop concluded with a set of recommendations, the most important of which is the computer revolutionized the world of technology to occupy a great place for everyone. The user should use the computer for useful purposes and use it in moderation to avoid addiction.
