The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Women at the University of Baghdad hosted the examination of the master’s thesis titled (The Effectiveness of Sports Media in Enhancing the Organizational Reputation of the Women’s Committee in the Iraqi Football Association), presented by Shahad Hikmat Ali.

The discussion committee was chaired by Prof. Dr. Ammar Taher Mohammed, Dean of the College of Media at the University of Baghdad, with Prof. Dr. Haitham Mohammed Kazem from the University of Babylon as an external member, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Thamer Hamad Rajah as a member, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Nibal Kareem Abdullah as the supervisor.

The research aimed to develop two measurement scales—one for the effectiveness of sports media and another for the organizational reputation of the Women’s Committee in the Iraqi Football Association—and identify the role of sports media effectiveness in shaping the committee’s organizational reputation.

The researcher concluded that sports media effectiveness plays a central role in strengthening the organizational reputation of the Women’s Committee. Effective and professional communication contributes to building a positive image and creating bridges of trust with the public. Purposeful sports media also helps raise public awareness about the importance of women’s sports and enhances women’s role in the sports sector.

The researcher recommended launching awareness-focused digital media campaigns targeting all segments of society to highlight the committee’s role and activities, improving its members’ communication and media skills, and establishing a specialized media team to systematically and professionally document and publish all committee activities.
