The teacher in the individual games branch in the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls, University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Intisar Kazem Abdul Karim, held a scientific symposium for undergraduate students entitled (Kinematic analysis and a cognitive method for tracking and evaluating the performance of players in an objective manner).

Dr. Intisar pointed out the importance of kinetic analysis, as it helps to obtain a complete perception of movement, which helps in the speed of development, and also helps in detecting errors and solving problems related to performance. A large number of researchers, especially in the field of biomechanics, rely on kinetic analysis as a method and means for evaluation and analysis. Movements from a mechanical point of view, taking into account the characteristics of those movements and identifying the mechanical causes of sports skills.

She also showed the link between kinesiology and biomechanics, as the latter explains the movement and its purpose, studying the parts of the movement mechanically individually, and knowing the relationship between the parts, through the application of mechanical foundations and laws.

The symposium concluded with a set of recommendations, the most important of which is the need for the teacher and the trainer to understand the characteristics and details of the movement, as well as the possibility of determining the mechanical foundations and principles of it in order to be able to judge the performance of the movement, Provision of laboratories as well as equipment for kinetic analysis such as speed measuring devices, force measurement platform and video cameras in order to facilitate the quantitative evaluation process.
