The Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Aseel Jalil, accompanied by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs and postgraduate students, Prof. Dr. Suhad Haseeb, received two delegations, one of them from the Information and Municipal Awareness Division of the Adhamiya Municipality, to hold an awareness seminar on (cleaning nets) and the other from the Association The Red Crescent, to hold an awareness seminar on (electronic extortion and drugs) in cooperation with the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit in our college, for undergraduate students, in the fencing hall in the college.
Where the delegation of the Municipality of Adhamiya explained the importance of cleaning the sewage networks, especially as we live in the winter season to avoid clogging them, as well as their emphasis on not throwing rubble, waste, dust and car oils into the sewers, and introductory folders were distributed on the importance of cleaning the water networks based on the slogan (For Baghdad The most beautiful and clean), the municipal delegation also planted a group of seedlings of trees and roses in the college gardens because it enjoys a sustainable environment with green spaces to show a beautiful and attractive appearance.
The delegation of the Red Crescent Society delivered an awareness seminar on (electronic extortion and drugs), showing how electronic extortion appears and how dangerous it is to society, as well as how to deal with it in order to avoid standing in problems that lead to psychological and social causes, referring to drugs in terms of their natural and industrial types, in addition to Its causes and effects on society.
At the end of the symposium, Dr. Aseel Jalil gave the two delegations letters of thanks and appreciation for their efforts in holding such educational seminars that serve our society and educate them about the cleanliness of our streets and sanitation infrastructure, as well as educating them about the crimes that have appeared recently.
