On the sidelines of the annual student conference which is held under the slogan “Through scientific research, we elevate our students”. The College of Physical Education and Sports Science for Girls at Baghdad University, headed by its Dean, Prof. Dr. Fatima Abd Maleh, hosted a group of retired female professors, including Prof. Dr. Nawal Mahdi Al-Obaidi, Prof. Dr. Ayda Ali, Prof. Dr. Manal Al-Anbaki, and Prof. Dr. Iman Hamad, to discuss the top ten outstanding research papers, then, the best three research papers were selected to compete with the research papers of the student conference that will be held later at the University of Baghdad for the colleges of physical education and sports science in Iraq.

After extensive discussions by the committee members and female students, the student Duha Basir Muhammed won the first place, the student Sorour Thamer won the second place, and the student Zahraa Zaid Marhoun won the third place.

At the end of the discussion, the Dean of the College awarded honor shields and letters of appreciation to the professors, as well as honoring the top ten students and the three students who obtain the top positions, wishing them and their supervisors success, progress, and more work in the service of promoting scientific research and the educational process in Iraq.
