The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls at the University of Baghdad witnessed the discussion of the master’s thesis entitled (The effect of anaerobic efficiency exercises in developing some special abilities and the accuracy of performing the hook pressing skill for tennis and soccer players), by the student Ghufran Siddiq Mahdi.
The study aimed to prepare anaerobic efficiency exercises for female tennis and soccer players, develop some special abilities, and identify the extent of the impact of anaerobic efficiency exercises in developing special abilities and the accuracy of performing the hook pressing skill in football tennis.
The study came out with a number of conclusions and recommendations, the most important of which are: There are significant differences between the experimental and control groups in the development of some motor abilities in favor of the experimental group at the expense of the control group, and that motor abilities (explosive strength, strength characterized by speed, force endurance, and motor speed) are related to the type of exercise and the content of these exercises because it is the main means of sporting influence and leads to raising the functional level of the body’s systems and organs. The effectiveness of anaerobic efficiency exercises that used the special training exercises that were applied to the members of this training group had a direct impact in developing the level of explosive power and strength characterized by speed, force endurance, and motor speed. The study recommended the necessity of adopting the high-intensity interval training method and the components of the training load that was applied during the implementation of the training curriculum when training levels of female football players, the interest of coaches, especially for youth teams, in developing motor capabilities, explosive power and strength characterized by speed, endurance of force and motor speed, raising the level of efficiency of functional equipment. Respiratory – muscular – nervous rotation among players to keep up with the modern physical, skill and tactical requirements of football, designing other training curricula using the high-intensity interval training method to develop other physical and motor qualities.
This study achieves the sustainable development goals represented by the fourth goal: quality education.
