The Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Science for Girls chaired the discussion of the master’s thesis titled (Using a modified device to develop the muscular fitness of the arms for the effectiveness of pushing the weight among female students of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences) by the student (Fadwa Muhammad Mohsen) in the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences/University of Diyala.

    The importance of the study lies in the manufacture of a training device that helps in developing the muscular fitness of the arms of the female students in the effectiveness of pushing the weight, which can be controlled according to the exercise time and the intensity required for training and according to the curriculum followed by the professor of the subject, and its use is similar to the method and style of the front support (Al-Shennaw), in order to help it reduce Body weight when performing and that would help the students to reach better numbers and higher levels by developing the physical abilities of the arms and shoulders required by the effectiveness of pushing the weight.

     The student also concluded through her study that the auxiliary training device had a positive effect in developing the components of muscular fitness for the arms (maximum strength, endurance strength, and strength characteristic of speed) and the achievement of female students in the effectiveness of pushing the weight, recommending the possibility of using the auxiliary training device in developing the muscular fitness of the arms in the other throwing activities (hammer throw, spear throw).

At the conclusion of the discussion, and after the student defended her message, the committee recommended granting her a master’s degree in physical education, wishing her success in her scientific and practical life.

     The Dean of the College of Diyala University, Prof. Magda Hamid Kambash, granted the Dean of our college, Prof. Fatima Abdel Maleh, a letter of thanks and appreciation in appreciation of her efforts in discussing the student’s thesis, wishing her more progress and success in the service of the scientific process in Iraq.
