A discussion of the doctoral thesis entitled (The Effect of Special Exercises with a Balance pad on Some Biokinetic Abilities and the Performance of Floor Exercises Skills for Junior Gymnastics Players) was held at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls, University of Baghdad, by the researcher (Fatima Al-Zahraa Nafaat Abdul Karim).

The discussion committee consisted of Prof. Dr. Widad Kazim Majeed from the University of Baghdad as Chairman, Prof. Dr. Intisar Kazim Abdul Karim as Supervisor, Prof. Dr. Huda Shihab Jari as a member, Prof. Dr. Bushra Kazim Abdul Redha as a member, Prof. Dr. Fardous Majeed Amin from the University of Diyala as a member, and Prof. Dr. Zeina Abdul Salam Abdul Razzaq as a member.

The study aimed to prepare exercises specific to the balance pad to develop some biokinetic and biokinetic abilities and perform some ground movement mat skills, as well as to identify the effect of exercises specific to the balance mat on some biokinetic abilities and perform ground movement mat skills (Arab jump, back handspring jump, front aerial flip, and congenital and lateral balance).

The study concluded that using the Balance-Pad tool positively affected the biokinetic abilities of the experimental group over the control group at a significant level, which is the strength characterised by speed for the legs and arms, static balance, coordination, and agility. The use of the tool did not significantly affect dynamic balance and flexibility, but in this study, the experimental group outperformed the control group in terms of development rates. There was also a positive effect of using the tool at a significant level for the experimental group over the control group in performing all the movements studied and some of their biokinetic variables.

The researcher recommended using the (Balance-Pad) tool in daily exercises and training for gymnasts and other sports players and conducting similar studies on different samples and various games and activities.

This study achieves one of the sustainable development goals represented by the fourth goal, quality education.
