The Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls University of Baghdad witnessed the discussion of the master’s thesis titled (analytical study of some physical abilities and biomechanical indicators to build a global model for people with disabilities F40 and its relationship to achievement) for the student (Faten Majeed Maalla) under the supervision of the teacher at the branch of individual games Dr. Iman Sabih Hussein.
The researcher showed the concept of athletes of short height category (F40) and are people suffering from short height where they are called short height according to the international law of medical and functional classification, where the length of a person is measured from the bottom to the top of the head with the length of the arm from the shoulder joint to the middle finger where it does not exceed (184 cm), noting the model, which is a simplified simulation or abstraction of practical reality in the form of a set of equations and mathematical symbols.
The student also concluded that the explosive force and maximum forces are among the most important physical abilities that have a strong relationship with achievement to push the iron ball to the F40 class, in contrast to the transitional speed and force characteristic of speed and endurance of force, which is one of the studied physical abilities that has a weak relationship with achievement to push the iron ball for F40.
The researcher recommended the investment of the model based on the motor analysis by players and coaches for its potential in improving the level by raising and lowering some indicators to reach high achievement, emphasizing the dissemination of the method of the payment model by picking up in the training of the F40 category for people with disabilities for all age groups, and conducting similar studies on other events, the most important of which are the disc, spear, hammer, for people with disabilities.
After discussing her thesis, the committee recommended that she be awarded a master’s degree in physical education.
