The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls, University of Baghdad, witnessed the discussion of the master’s thesis entitled (The Effect of Rehabilitation Exercises and the Inversion Table Device in Improving Muscle Strength and Range of Motion for Lower Back Pain for Bodybuilders Aged (20-30) years), by the researcher (Zahraa Khalil Ibrahim). The discussion committee comprised Prof. Dr. Abbas Hussein Obaid, Chairman from the University of Babylon, Prof. Dr. Suhad Hassib Abdul Hamid, Supervisor, and Assist. Prof. Dr. Lamia’a Abdul Sattar Khalil, Member, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Liqa’a Ali Anad, Member.

The study aimed to prepare rehabilitation exercises using the inversion table device to improve muscle strength, range of motion and lower back pain for bodybuilders to identify the effect of rehabilitation exercises and the table device in improving muscle strength, range of motion and lower back pain for bodybuilders, to know which of the two samples is more affected by the program prepared for the rehabilitation exercises group and the inversion table device.

The results of the study showed the contribution of rehabilitation exercises with the inversion table device in maintaining the levels of the body’s joints subject to work, in addition to achieving the required range of motion, as well as its contribution to increasing the ability of the injured to move, noting that the use of the inversion table device as an auxiliary factor with rehabilitation exercises accelerated the occurrence of recovery and improved muscle performance to a greater degree.

The researcher recommended the need to pay attention to the injury when it occurs while giving enough time for healing, emphasising the use of the inversion table for those suffering from eye diseases and high blood pressure, spreading awareness and educating those suffering by preparing booklets for rehabilitation exercises using the inversion table and their benefits and the instructions that must be followed. The device reduces the cartilage pressure between the vertebrae, which contributes to practising more exercises. This discussion achieves one of the sustainable development goals represented by the fourth goal of quality education.
