The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls, University of Baghdad, in cooperation and coordination with the Iraqi Sports and Scientific Association, Basketball Branch, organized a basketball forum held under the slogan (Our Beloved Basketball), which lasts for two days (2/1/2/2023), sponsored by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Fatima Abdel Maleh and the head of the association, Salman Akab.
The opening of the forum included the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran and then the reading of Surat Al-Fatihah in order to have mercy on the souls of our righteous martyrs, as well as welcoming speeches by the Dean of the College and the President of the Society.
The forum dealt with three lectures, the first by Dr. Liqa Abdullah and Dr. Hilal Abdel Karim, entitled (Development of the Basketball Team), and the second by Dr. Uday Abdel-Hussein, and the third titled (Violations and Mistakes _ Signals) by Dr. Ali Al-Fartousi and Dr. Nada Muhammad Amin.
