The Scout Guides team in the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls, University of Baghdad, led by Dr. Nibal Karim and assistant teacher Safia Ihsan, participated in the celebration of the International Scouts Day, which was organized by the Student Activities Department at the University Presidency under the auspices and presence of the University President, Prof. Dr. Mounir Hamid Al-Saadi, and under the supervision of the Department Director, Dr. Qais Qahtan Daoud, with the participation of all university formations.
The celebration included playing the national anthem and then raising the Iraqi flag while chanting the scout oath, as well as presenting various activities in the field of scouting.
The President of the University, Dr. Mounir Al-Saadi, also inspected the teams participating in the Scout Festival.
In a related context, the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Fatima Abdel Maleh, met with the team participating in the celebration, expressing her thanks and appreciation for their exerted efforts and their active contribution to enhancing classroom activities, wishing them success in their academic and practical lives.
