The Continuing Education Unit at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls, University of Baghdad, under the patronage of its Dean, Prof. Dr. Fatima Abd Maleh, concluded the activities of the training course entitled (Foundation Course for Personal Trainer).

The activities of the last day included three main axes; the first was presented by the Head of the Individual Games Branch, Prof. Dr. Abeer Dakhel Al-Salmi, on (a low-calorie diet program, how to write a healthy physical course, in addition to a nutritional course, the Carrefour diet, and nutritional supplements). In contrast, the second axis was presented by the orthopedic consultant Dr. Saad Hussein on (sports injuries in Iraq, high-voltage injuries – pubic bone and knee injuries) while the third axis, which was presented by Captain Mustafa Salam, dealt with (the principles of first aid, its concept, the importance of training in first aid, the goals of first aid, the principles of first aid, the paramedic, the responsibility of the first aider, the steps of the paramedic’s work, the conditions that the paramedic must-have, the priority of care, the initial examination, calling for medical assistance).

In conclusion, the Assistant Deans for Scientific Affairs and Students, Prof. Dr. Suhad Hassib and Dr. Abeer Al-Salmi awarded certificates of participation to all participants in the training course aimed at acquiring theoretical and practical sports skills.

This course achieves one of the sustainable development goals represented by the third and seventeenth goals of good health and well-being and forming partnerships to achieve the goals.
