The Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls at the University of Baghdad, Professor Dr. Fatima Abdel Maleh, concluded the activities of the training course specialized in athletics (yard and field), which was organized by the General Directorate of Education of Baghdad Al-Rusafa, the General Directorate of Physical Education and School Activity / Department of School Sports – Division of Training Centers for Physical education teachers in all general directorates in Baghdad and the provinces, as well as for trainers of training centers, which was set up at the headquarters of our college in Akram Fahmy Hall, and lasted for five days, from (26/2 to 2/3/2023) under the auspices of the Minister of Education, Dr. Ibrahim Names Al-Jubouri, And under the supervision of the Director General of Physical Education and School Activity, Mr. Fakhry Nayef Al-Jumaili.
The first day of the course dealt with two lectures by the two lecturers in the individual games branch, Prof. Dr. Aseel Jalil and Dr. Iman Sobeih, the first entitled (The most important physical characteristics and physiological indicators that must be developed for middle-distance running) and the second entitled (Training for throwing and jumping activities), As for the second day, a theoretical lecture was delivered by Dr. Iman Sabih entitled (Long Jump Technique_Training) and two practical lectures were delivered by Dr. Hassan Nuri, while the third day lectures for the theoretical and practical sides were delivered by Dr. Haidar Nawar on (Training according to areas of effort female worker) (technical performance by effectively throwing the javelin and pushing the weight), as well as giving a lecture on the fourth day for the theoretical and practical sides by Dr. Saad Tayeh on (training methods starting in the 100m and 200m relay), and the fifth and last day of the course includes a review of all the information that was taken in the games powers, in addition to conducting the theoretical and practical test for all participants in the course.
At the end of the course, the two sides exchanged the Dean of the College, Dr. Fatima and Dr. Al-Jumaili, distributing certificates of participation to all participating teachers, wishing them continued success in their work to contribute to the advancement of the reality of sports in general.
