The Head of the Individual Games Branch in the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls, University of Baghdad, Assistant Professor Dr. Abeer Dakhil Al-Slmi, gave a qualitative lecture to undergraduate students, entitled (Controlling anger and nerves before losing them).
Dr. Al-Selmi explained the concept of anger as an emotional state that a person enters into when facing some situations that he does not like, and it must be dealt with in a positive way known as (anger management) because anger that is out of control negatively affects your health and your relationships with others, as its degrees range between mild annoyance down to ghetto and great indignation.
Its types were classified as anger upon criticism, mood swings, negative anger, oppressive anger, and verbal anger.
And she emphasized the most important steps that must be followed in order to control anger, which are thinking before speaking, doing some exercise, because anger increases the breathing rate, heart rate, high blood pressure, muscle tension and hormone changes, taking breaks, identifying possible solutions, practicing skills Relax, don’t hold grudges.
