The Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls at the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Fatima Abdel Maleh, hosted the University of Baghdad Basketball Championship for girls, which was organized by the Student Activities Department in the Presidency of the University, for all formations of the University of Baghdad / Adhamiya Complex, which will last for five days, starting from Sunday corresponding to (3/12/2023) until Thursday (3/16/2023), in the hall of the indoor playground of our college.
The first day of the tournament included holding three matches, the first between the Faculties of Administration, Economics and Law, and the match ended with the victory of the College of Administration and Economics team with (30 points against one point for Favor of Law), while the second match was held between the team of the Faculties of Education Ibn al-Haytham and Veterinary Medicine, and the match resulted in The team of Ibn Al-Haytham won (20 points against zero), while the third match, which was between the College of Medicine and Dentistry team, won the victory of Medicine (14 points against 2).
It is worth noting that the formations of the University of Baghdad will continue the tournament activities next Tuesday (3/14/2023) by conducting two matches with the faculties of Nursing, Administration and Economics, and Ibn Al-Haytham Education with Medicine.
