The Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls, University of Baghdad, has concluded under the auspices of its dean, Dr Fatima Abd Maleh, Which was organised by the Student Activities Department headed by the university under the supervision of its director, Asst. Lect. Dr. Ali Sadiq, the championship was hosted at the inner hall stadium in our college for the second consecutive day (4/2/2015).
The second day included the activities of the Female Student Championship, with the participation of (22) colleges of university formations.
The tournament ended with the Faculty of Media winning first place and the College of Dentistry winning second.
In conclusion, Dr. Nihad Muhammad Alwan, head of the Team Games Branch, with the assistance of the Dean for Administrative Affairs, Asst. Lect. Dr. Naima Zidan Khalaf gave the winning teams the championship cup and the other participating teams championship medals for their efforts to participate and raise the name of our university high in all local and international forums.
This tournament achieved one of the sustainable development goals of the third and seventeenth goals: good health, well-being, and partnerships to achieve goals.
