The Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls at the University of Baghdad, Professor Dr. Fatima Abd Maleh, participated in the proceedings of the training course titled “Developing and Qualifying Administrative Leaders Specialized in Economics and Financial Management.” The program was organized by the National Center for Administrative Development and Information Technology as part of the Iraqi University Leaders Program Towards Excellence and Sustainability 2030, held from July 5 to 9, 2026, with the participation of a select group of administrative and academic leaders from government institutions and Iraqi universities.
The course agenda included specialized scientific and training sessions aimed at developing the leadership and administrative skills of the participants. The first session, presented by the Director-General of the Center, Dr. Hussein Al-Kartani, addressed the concept of modern strategic management in the digital era, reviewing its historical evolution, and clarifying the prominent foundational concepts and terminology associated with strategic management.
The second session was dedicated to the subject of effective executive leadership styles, aiming to enhance the capabilities of administrative leaders to manage institutions efficiently and effectively, and to adapt to the requirements of changing work environments.
The participation of the College Dean aligns with the institution’s commitment to advancing the capabilities of its academic and administrative leadership, and to staying informed of the latest administrative and financial practices, thereby contributing to institutional development and achieving the goals of sustainable development and academic excellence.
