The Head of the Team Sports Department at the College of Physical Education and Sports Science for Girls at the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Nihad Mohammed Alwan, participated as a committee member in the discussion of the doctoral dissertation titled (The Impact of Using Flipped and Collaborative Learning on Motor Skills and Learning Some Basic Handball Skills for Students” by the student Munkhi Ta’ama Salman, at the College of Basic Education, University of Diyala.
The study aimed to investigate the impact of the flipped and collaborative learning approaches on motor skills and the acquisition of fundamental handball skills among students. Additionally, it aimed to identify the most effective instructional method utilized.
The study reached several conclusions, the most prominent of which is the existence of significant differences in the impact among the three groups.
The study recommended the necessity of using reverse and interactive learning in developing motor skills and learning abilities due to their significant importance in addressing individual differences among learners. It also advises using multiple tools and methods in the interaction process to effectively communicate information to learners and handle it well.
At the conclusion of the discussion, the Dean of the College of Basic Education, Prof. Dr. Abdul Rahman Nasser, awarded a letter of thanks and appreciation to the head of the Team Sports Department, Prof. Dr. Nihad, for her dedicated efforts and active contribution in examining the student. He wished her continued success, progress, and advancement in serving the academic progress in Iraq.
