The study aimed to develop a cognitive representation scale for junior taekwondo athletes aged 12–14, to assess the participants’ current levels using this scale, and to investigate the impact of the Entosel instructional model on both their cognitive representation and the acquisition of selected offensive skills.
The researcher concluded that Entwistle’s Model significantly and effectively impacted the experimental group’s performance, as evident in improved cognitive representation.
Based on the findings, the researcher recommended adopting Entwistle’s Model in teaching taekwondo skills due to its high compatibility with educational needs. Additionally, she suggested implementing the newly developed cognitive representation scale in taekwondo training and academic centers.
