The official of the legal unit in the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls, University of Baghdad, Ms. Najwa Hassan Ali, held a scientific symposium for fourth-stage students entitled (The Student Discipline Law in the Institutions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research No. 160 of 2007 as amended).

As Ms. Najwa explained the most important laws that the student must abide by inside the university campus, including adherence to the laws, internal regulations, instructions and orders issued by the Ministry of Education and its institutions represented by the university, the commission, the college and the institute, emphasizing not to prejudice religious, national and national beliefs, not to offend the reputation of the Ministry and its institutions by word and deed. Whether inside or outside it, preserving the educational supplies and its property in all the institutions of the ministry, avoiding everything that is inconsistent with university behavior in terms of high discipline and respect for the administration, faculty and staff, collegial relations and cooperation between students, adherence to correct disciplined behavior that will positively affect you upon appointment and postgraduate studies, refrain from Any action that disturbs order, tranquility, and tranquility within the university campus, adhering to the uniform dress prescribed for students, avoiding calling for organizations that deepen discrimination or practicing any kind of political, religious, or social persecution, as well as avoiding propaganda for any party, political organization, ethnic group, national or sectarian, whether that is hanging pictures, banners, posters, etc.

The official in charge of the legal unit also emphasized that mobile phones and computers should not be used in a way that harms fellowship relations and public morals on campus, as well as not attending college drunk or under the influence of narcotics.

And she noted the most important penalties that the student is punished with, represented by warning or warning in the event of the following violations: non-compliance with the uniform, insulting among students, disturbing order and tranquility inside the campus, overstepping it by saying to one of the university’s affiliates, defaming a member of the faculty for what offends him inside the college or the authority, putting up posters that disturb order and morals on campus, threatening to carry out armed acts of violence, carrying weapons of all kinds, with or without leave, and his approved violation of the proper conduct of the study.
