A group of female teachers from the Department of Individual Sports at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls, Baghdad University, organized the Annual Physical Fitness Day. A group of female professors from the Department of Individual Sports at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls, Baghdad University, organized the Annual Physical Fitness Day. The event was sponsored and supervised by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Fatima Abd Maleh, and the Head of the Department of Individual Sports, Asst. Prof. Dr. Abeer Dakheel Hatem. The professors included Prof. Dr. Muna Talib Al-Badri, Asst. Prof. Iman Sabeeh Hussein, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ashraq Ghalib Udeh, and Asst. Lect Duaa Hussein.

During the Physical Fitness Day, a variety of physical sport presentations were presented, as Dr. Muna Al-Badri and the first-year students presented an aerobics presentation. While Dr. Sahira Razzaq and Asst. Lect. Huda Eidan presented with the third stage a presentation of rhythmic gymnastics with balls, while Dr. Iman, Dr. Ishraq and Asst. Lect. Duaa presented a presentation of aerobic exercises that included performing movements and exercises accompanied by music rhythm with the participation of teachers and students from the college.

At the end of the Physical Fitness Day, the female teachers who organized the event highlighted the importance of fitness for humans in general and athletes in particular, due to the positive health benefits on both physical and mental health, because sport contributes to the enjoyment of a healthy mind and a fit body free from chronic diseases.
