The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls at the University of Baghdad conducted exams for students applying for evening studies for the academic year 2023/2024, under the supervision of its Dean, Professor Dr. Fatima Abd Maleh. The number of applicants for this group reached more than (15) students, as they were subjected to six main committees, which are the Interview, physical safety, skill tests, which include (basketball, handball, volleyball, football , and gymnastics), physical tests, which include (speed test – running from a standing position for a distance of 30 metres, accuracy test, throwing ten balls at a marked target, dangling on ladders test due to exhaustion, circuit compatibility test. Numbered: the agility test, rebound running, the sitting test from lying down with the knees bent for 30 seconds, the full descent test from standing for 30 seconds, the flexibility test of bending forward from a long sitting, the 400-meter table running test, in addition to the standard and follow-up committee.

After the students completed the physical and skill tests, they interviewed by the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Aseel Jalil, who asked them some questions about the extent of their knowledge of sports games and events and their laws.

For her part, the Assistant Dean explained to the female applicants that there are other procedures after the interview, such as the sorting process that will determine the successful students who will be accepted in the new academic year, stressing that all applicants’ grades will be subject to specific equations in accordance with the admission laws of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the directives of the university presidency in this regard. In this regard, I wish them success and acceptance into college.

This test is one of the sustainable development goals represented by the fourth goal: quality education.
