The two teachers in the team sports branch at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls, University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Saja Khaled and Asst. Lect. Maryam Abdel-Jabbar and the teacher in the Individual Games Branch, Asst. Lext. Ghofran Bashir, held a workshop for undergraduate students entitled How to Use QR in Continuing Education.

The workshop aimed to determine the extent to which interaction and participation can be improved by using QR codes to direct learners to questionnaires or opinion polls to measure their level of understanding and satisfaction with the educational program, facilitating access to educational resources to direct learners directly to additional educational materials such as explanatory videos or reference articles, and enhancing learners’ self-learning. Using QR codes to access various educational resources on their own, which enhances self-learning and independence, enhancing interaction with content, as teachers can add QR codes to educational materials to direct learners to interactive questions or educational tasks to enhance interaction with content, providing additional information, as QR codes can direct learners can access additional information such as dates for upcoming courses, or contact information for teachers or administrators. Using QR codes, the learning experience can be enhanced and learners motivated to participate and continue learning.

The workshop concluded with a set of recommendations, the most important of which are easy access for learners to educational resources quickly by scanning QR codes using their smartphones, interaction and participation to direct learners to questionnaires or interactive platforms to enhance participation and evaluate their understanding, directing knowledge, distance learning, and QR codes can be used to direct learners to… Online educational content, facilitating the distance learning process and providing flexibility in time and location. Support guidance. QR codes can be used to direct learners to professional or technical support resources in the event of technical problems during learning. By using QR codes effectively, the learning experience can be enhanced and empowered. Learners can access resources and knowledge easily and effectively.

This workshop achieves one of the sustainable development goals represented by the fourth goal: quality education.
