Within the framework of the continuous efforts by the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Women to strengthen strategic partnerships and link academic outcomes with the labor market, the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Fatima Abd Maleh, received Ms. Walaa Hussein Zakaria, Director of the Baghdad-Rusafa Youth and Sports Directorate, accompanied by a high-level delegation, to discuss the terms of a joint cooperation protocol between the two parties. During the meeting held at the Dean’s office, shared visions aimed at enhancing knowledge exchange between the college and the institution in various fields were reviewed, and joint projects such as cooperation in organizing seminars, workshops, and scientific conferences serving the community were discussed.

The Dean, Dr. Fatima, emphasized that this meeting represents a significant step toward the college’s openness to national institutions, noting that the protocol currently under preparation will provide a fertile environment for innovation and offer genuine support to women students and researchers in line with the vision of the college and the university. At the conclusion of the meeting, the delegation conducted an inspection tour of the college’s facilities and landmarks, expressing their admiration for the available capabilities. It was agreed to form a joint committee to develop the final draft of the protocol’s terms in preparation for its signing in the near future.
