The Continuing Education Unit at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls, University of Baghdad, held a scientific workshop entitled (The Test Map and its Importance in Cognitive Tests), which was presented by a member of the team games branch, Assistant Professor Dr. Naima Zidane Khalaf.
Dr. Naima explained the concept of the test map, which is a detailed plan that defines the topics of the test content, in addition to linking the content of the study material to the behavioral, educational objectives to show the weightage of each topic from the different topics and the relative weights of the cognitive behavioral objectives at their different levels.
She pointed out its purpose in scheduling the specifications to achieve balance in the achievement or cognitive test and ensuring the measurement of a similar sample of the teaching objectives and the content of the educational material required to measure the level of achievement or knowledge.
She stressed that the specifications table must contain two dimensions: the first dimension is material, and the second dimension is the objectives, in addition to the content containing topics such as topic (1, 2, 3…etc.) to extract the percentage of each topic from the content, the objectives must contain (knowledge, understanding, application, analysis, synthesis, and evaluation) so that the percentage of the total objectives equals (100).
This workshop achieves one of the sustainable development goals represented by the fourth goal, quality education.
