Under the patronage of Dean Prof. Dr. Fatima Abd Malih and the supervision of Asst. Prof. Dr. Sahar Harr Majeed, Head of the Student Activities Unit, the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls, University of Baghdad, in collaboration with the Individual Games Branch headed by Dr. Abeer Dakhel Hatem, organized a friendly match in racket sports (table tennis) between the college team and the First Rusafa Education Directorate team.
The match aimed to strengthen cooperation, exchange scientific and academic expertise, and encourage student and university activities to enhance the status of school sports.
The competition concluded with the college team securing first place, while the Rusafa Education team finished in second place.
At the closing ceremony, Dr. Abeer awarded trophies to the winning teams in recognition of their efforts and wished them continued success in serving Iraq.
This event aligns with two Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
