College’s Dean Signs Twinning Agreement with Al-Salam University College
The Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls at the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Fatima Abd Malih, has signed a twinning agreement with Al-Salam University College. This agreement aims to strengthen cooperation between the two institutions in various academic fields and contribute to the advancement of scientific and research standards for both parties.
The agreement includes provisions for curriculum development, organizing joint training workshops for students and faculty members, delivering theoretical lectures, and holding scientific conferences and interdisciplinary seminars. Additionally, it involves academic exchange visits, organizing sports activities, and collaborating on the supervision and evaluation of graduation projects.
Dr. Fatima expressed her strong commitment to this academic partnership, emphasizing the importance of implementing the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education to enhance collaboration between public and private educational institutions. The goal is to unify and develop curricula in alignment with strategic plans that support the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
It is worth noting that this agreement represents a significant step toward achieving the SDGs, particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education) and Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
