The Student Activities Unit at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls, University of Baghdad, organised a friendly handball match under the patronage of Dean Prof. Dr. Fatima Abd Malih and the supervision of its official Asst. Prof. Dr. Sahar Har Majid, in collaboration with the handball course instructors. The match was held between the college team and the third Rusafa Education Directorate team, aiming to enhance players’ physical skills and encourage participation in local and international championships.
The match concluded with the college team winning 11-2 against the Rhird Rusafa team.
This match is part of the team’s preparations for the upcoming university and club championships in April.
It is worth noting that such activities contribute to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being and Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals, by fostering cooperation and promoting sports engagement.
