The Department of Graduate Studies at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls, University of Baghdad, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Fatima Abd Maleh, has resumed its seminar series for master and doctoral students for the 2024–2025 academic year.
The sessions involved the formation of committees consisting of a chairperson and four members. Four seminar sessions were held, with two students presenting from each academic level. During today’s session, which marked the seventh seminar lecture, students presented various topics relevant to their academic specializations. The scientific committee opened the floor for discussion and dialogue following their presentations. Constructive feedback was provided to help enhance the quality and depth of the student’s research work.
These seminars aim to elevate the students’ academic level by providing scientific guidance and encouraging the development of more diverse and advanced research in the future. Additionally, the initiative fosters a culture of scholarly curiosity, motivating female researchers to engage with recent global studies and explore international publications—ultimately expanding their knowledge base and advancing scientific thinking.
Such academic activities contribute to realizing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4, which focuses on ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education and promoting lifelong learning opportunities for all.
