The academic visit of Professor Dr. Heba Ibrahim Al-Ashqar from Sultan Qaboos University to the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Women at the University of Baghdad concluded successfully. Her visit, hosted by the Postgraduate Studies Department, extended from Thursday, April 17, 2025, until today, aiming to review the academic program descriptions and ensure their alignment with global standards implemented by leading universities.
In her final report on evaluating the doctoral program standards, Dr. Al-Ashqar noted that the program achieved high compliance rates across all academic criteria, including the program’s objectives and the college’s mission. She further praised the collective efforts of the college’s faculty and staff in fostering academic excellence and research development, highlighting the strict adherence to quality standards and the effective implementation of modern teaching methods and tools, making the program a model that could be replicated in other Iraqi universities.
