Prof. Dr. Suhad Haseeb Abdul-Hamid, Assistant Dean for Scientific and Student Affairs at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Women—University of Baghdad, met with postgraduate students to discuss the preparatory arrangements for organising a conference dedicated to reviewing papers related to master’s and doctoral research projects. The meeting aimed to develop a comprehensive plan to ensure the conference’s success, representing an important milestone in the students’ scientific research journey.
The meeting addressed several key points, including setting dates for submitting and discussing research papers, forming specialised committees to evaluate the presentations, and establishing a clear timetable for all activities. The importance of the “Review” as a fundamental part of academic research was also highlighted, as it enables the evaluation of previous studies, contributes to providing new scientific insights, and unifies academic publishing standards—opening the way for publication in reputable scientific journals.
The Assistant Dean also listened to the students’ suggestions and inquiries, affirming the administration’s commitment to providing full support to help them accomplish their research at the highest level of quality.
