The College Council of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Women at the University of Baghdad held its second session for the academic year (2025/2026) on Thursday, September 18, 2025, headed by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Fatima Abd Malih, with the attendance of the Associate Dean for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Naeema Zaidan Khalaf, the heads of the scientific branches, and the Secretary of the College Council.

The council discussed key topics related to postgraduate studies, scientific affairs, administrative matters, and student affairs, all approved by the agenda. The meeting also presented the directives of the University President, discussed during the University Council at the beginning of the academic year 2025/2026, emphasising the importance of a strong educational start for both undergraduate and postgraduate studies.

The Dean also highlighted the importance of maintaining the rigour of scientific research and elevating the educational process to the highest levels to achieve progress toward global rankings.
