The Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Women at the University of Baghdad, Professor Dr. Fatima Abd Malih, received an official delegation from the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Samarra on the morning of Tuesday, 2 December 2025, accompanied by several students. The visit was part of a scientific exchange program aimed at strengthening academic communication and sharing expertise between educational institutions.
Several faculty members and heads of academic divisions and units welcomed the delegation. Accompanied by the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Naeema Zaidan Khalaf, the Dean conducted a field tour of a number of the college’s facilities. The tour included the college gardens, academic branches, and scientific and administrative departments, where visitors received a detailed overview of the academic programs, curricula, and infrastructure designed to serve students.
The delegation also visited laboratories, lecture halls, indoor and outdoor sports fields, sports training halls, and changing rooms, and learned about the college’s research and training activities.
The visiting students expressed their happiness with the scientific capabilities and administrative organization they observed, affirming that the visit provided them with a clear picture of the university environment and the opportunities available for academic development.
At the conclusion of the visit, the delegation extended its gratitude to the college administration and staff for the warm reception, emphasizing the importance of continuing such visits to strengthen cooperation and open new horizons for students.
This visit contributes to achieving one of the Sustainable Development Goals, specifically Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
