The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls at Baghdad University witnessed the discussion of a doctoral dissertation titled (Designing tests for shooting accuracy and analyzing force propulsion using the Arlon coach device and their relationship with some biomechanical variables of the shooting skill for handball players), by the student (Zubaida Salah Hadi).

The study aimed to design shooting accuracy tests involving high jumping with defenders and without defenders, as well as forward jumping with and without defenders. It also aimed to assess the level of accuracy index and some biomechanical variables, examine the relationship between shooting accuracy index and some biomechanical variables, identify differences in power output between the steps preceding the shooting skill, and determine standardized levels of shooting accuracy for high jumping and forward jumping with and without defenders.

The dissertation yielded a series of results and recommendations, including the confirmation of the validity of the designed tests for assessing the proficiency level of handball players. Additionally, it highlighted the significant correlations between shooting accuracy and biomechanical variables, affirming that the study participants utilize these variables to optimize their performance. It emphasized the importance of coaches being informed about the research findings to understand the role of the studied variables and modern tests in enhancing shooting accuracy.
