The Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls, University of Baghdad, Prof. Fatima Abdul Maleh, chairs the discussion of the master’s thesis titled (The effect of exercises with a device designed inside the water on the strength and flexibility of the ligaments of the ankle joint for athletes with minor sprains) for the student (Duha Kamel Jabr) under the supervision of the teacher in the branch of individual games Dr. Lamia Abdul Sattar.
The study aimed to prepare exercises with a device designed inside the water to rehabilitate the ankle joint and the strength and flexibility of the ligaments of the joint, as well as to identify the extent of the impact of these exercises on those with minor sprains, concluding the contribution of these exercises in improving the range of motion (stretching down, resting on the comb, basing on the heel, in addition to their contribution to improving the balance to stand on the injured foot in the experimental group, recommending the adoption of rehabilitation exercises prepared in physiotherapy centers, as well as stressing the preparation of bulletins for all rehabilitation curricula, conducting Rehabilitation exercises inside the water for various injuries.
After discussing her thesis, the committee recommended that she be awarded a master’s degree in physical education.
