The Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls, University of Baghdad, Professor Fatima Abdel Maleh, hosted the General Directorate of Education of Baghdad, Al-Rusafa, the General Directorate of Physical Education and School Activity / Department of School Sports – Division of Training Centers to conduct a specialized training course in athletics (yard and field) for teachers of physical education in All general directorates in Baghdad and the provinces, as well as for trainers of training centers, for the period from (26/2 to 2/3/2023) under the auspices of the Minister of Education, Dr.Ibrahim Names Al-Jubouri, and under the supervision of the Director General of Physical Education and School Activities, Mr. Fakhry Nayef Al-Jumaili.
For her part, the Dean of the College welcomed all the gentlemen attending and participating in the course, declaring the readiness of our college to open horizons of cooperation and strengthen the bonds of academic and educational relations for the purpose of exchanging experiences and benefiting from both sides.
On his part, Dr. Al-Jumaili praised the efforts of the Dean of the College to always open its doors to hold our training courses in it and with the participation of a group of teachers of this ancient college by providing scientific and practical lectures to all participants to benefit from their experiences and employ them in their educational and practical side.
The first day of the courses included the presentation of two lectures by the two teachers in the individual sports branch, Prof. Dr. Aseel Jalil and Prof. Dr. Iman Sabih, on everything related to athletics in terms of the rules of the game and its most important modern developments.
